The Julienne Hard Wax is a fast melt, peel-off wax which is heated in a microwave and applied to the skin. Apply applied to the skin the wax sets forming its own peeloff strip - no cloth strips required! Infused with soothing chamomile for sensitive skins it is ideal for short, coarse hair on the face and body.

HEATING: Microwave
CAUTION:
This traditional and extremely effective method of waxing, should only be used by those with some previous waxing experience.
- Place Julienne Hard Wax on a plate and microwave wax in jar for 60 seconds on high
- Apply wax, with spatula onto the skin
- Allow wax to set (This should take between 5-40 seconds)
- While still pliable, loosen wax with fingertips
- Peel-off against hair growth
- No cloth strips required

The wax jar melted during microwave heating. Why?
- The microwave jars are industry standard and designed to withstand microwaves. Sometimes faulty microwave ovens that don’t have even microwave distribution can cause a “drilling” effect to occur. The wax may have been over heated (i.e. correct time was not adhered to).
My skin burnt during waxing. What did I do wrongly?
- The wax was applied when too hot. The wax temperature should be tested on the inside of your wrist before you begin waxing.
Can you use the Hard Wax in an electronic heating unit?
- No – the wax is formulated for microwave heating only.
The wax became too brittle and I could not remove it. Why not?
- You may have applied it too thinly or have waited too long. Apply another layer of wax over the wax on your skin. The new layer of warm wax will heat up the bottom layer and make it easier to remove. Small amounts of wax can be removed using baby oil, olive oil or body lotion.

A fabulous product
This wax is my favorite hot wax and I have used it for years. Don't use it on my legs as I find the Julienne strips much quicker and easier for waxing legs but I do use it for my underarms and bikini area. It is true that you do have to have a bit of a knack for applying hot wax correctly but with this wax it is easy to pick up. As for its smell - I think it smells just like every other hot wax. This wax is great for sensitive areas such as underarms and is quick and easy at removing hair best of all, it’s pretty cheap at about $10. The Julienne Hard Wax is definitely my favorite hot wax.

Pretty Good!
Pros- It wasn’t really expensive, I picked it up at Priceline for $10 and there wasn’t a need for strips although there is a spatula provided on the box, there wasn’t one in my box although :( it worked well on my legs but reasonably on the face…..
….Overall, If you’re looking for a cheap alternative and cant be waiting for hair to grow back after waxing and have the time, I would recommend this product.

Julienne Hard Wax
I have been using this product for years and when I saw it on Beauty Heaven I just had to write it a review. This is a fantastic wax for the underarms and bikini area; it removes all hair and saves the hassle of shaving every day. The only small negative about this product is that the spatula could be a bit bigger and as with all microwavable waxes they can be a bit messy. However I would still never use any other microwaveable wax.
